Considering our low budget, we aimed to make our combat/action sense look as realistic as possible. We tested multiple choreographed fights however the most effective out of of the were edited in the video above with suitable sound effects (royalty free) giving depth and definition to the action. Spencer had edited most of the scenes in different styles, each member of the group collaborated to make the editing seem realistic add something. This will be developed further for the real thing, if we are to make this gritty we need to focus on more fast paced and improved choreography.
At the same time, we were able to gather who the
stronger performers were within our group this gave use a better image for who
the renegade would be. Harry (the camera man) felt that some of the first
couple scenes were too still. He ditched the tripod and developed and decided
to use the shaking camera method. After a couple of scenes, we developed the
framing and movement of the shaking camera and made the camera pan and tilt in
the same direction as the action.
