Audience research
The following images were our main references of inspiration for finding the balance of an effective target audience. First we browsed around the school and asked various questions about action movies slowly introducing them into the superhero genre. We did this so we didn’t immediately so the viewer would be more interactive. The graphs for students and staff ask can be seen below. This data was a wasted opportunity as we weren’t able to record at the time. After we had finished filming the renegade we decided to take advantage of this opportunity and record the reactions of the renegade and interview the subjects who experienced it. The majority of our research was based on 2016's tracking blockbusters.
